Boris namechecks Amy and Elton

Boris is firmly present on the campaign trial now, popping up on NME in the last few days. Saddened by Elton John’s support of Brian Paddick, Boris was asked who he should turn to instead. “I’d love to get Amy Winehouse. I think she’d be fantastic.”

He joked that Winehouse could record a new version of her hit single Rehab: “‘Ken Livingstone - no, no, no.’ Something like that.” Holy Moly, Bozza, that’d be a lethal combination…
