Word reaches Boriswatch that there’s another Have I Got News For You appearance in the works for Boris – on 5th May! Set your alarms, Boriswatchers…

While your Boriswatch host was sitting still on the M1 following the fifth needless car crash in 12 miles, emails were flooding in from eager Boriswatchers about Boris’s appearance on Question Time. We missed it – and if you did too, praise be to the BBC website, which has the full episode here in all its glory. The link also has comments from viewers, and Pete from Swansea has an enlightening view of BoJo’s performance:

“It’s well-known that Boris Johnson has developed a reputation for being a joke figure due to great stints on HIGNFY, but I thought this particular edition of Question Time displayed that BoJo is actually very astute and isn’t the fool many believe he is.”

The conversion to a more heavyweight Boris is still on course…

Terrible news for those who enjoy Boris’s cycling antics – he’s fallen off and sprained his wrist after trying to avoid a tourist. Says Boris, “There was a bunch of tourists crossing the road when there was a red man. It was on the crossing and I had a green light and they were still crossing and I shouted at them to get out of the way. One poor chap was transfixed and stood on the spot so I started going around him and he leapt in my path. He completely went in the wrong direction and I came off.” The full report is here.
